FOX sent the Top 12 to the premiere of "Dr. Seuss's Horton Hears a Who" Saturday where the contestants met Jim Carrey and his girlfriend Jenny McCarthy. Amanda decided to rebel by being the only contestant to forgo the promo elephant ears (go Amanda!) The contestants spent two hours being interviewed on the red carpet at the official Top 12 Party at the Pacific Design Center directly after the results show last Thursday. Also in attendance were the four most recently booted contestants--although Asia'h Epperson was apparently too distraught to stay more than a few minutes--and former Idol hopefuls Constantine, Gina Glocksen, Jusin Guarini and Kimberly Caldwell.
Songs already being commissioned for David A. & David H.Katharine McPhee to perform at the top 12 results show Wednesday with David Foster (according to a MySpace bulletin she posted recently).
Kellie Pickler to appear on AI sometime this season (also according to her MySpace)
Blake Lewis to appear on LA Ink on either 3/13 or 3/17
Randy Jackson confirms: Mariah will be a Mentor this Season
