Idol Contestant Bound for Broadway?
Elliott Yamin's mother Claudette has just passed away. Claudette was a wonderful woman who was featured on the show throughout season 5 and considered by many to be the favorite contestant mother. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Yamin family during this difficult time.
Chris Sligh's album "Running Back to You" drops May 6th. His single "Empty Me" is currently #24 on the Billboard Hot Christian songs chart.
Wednesday's results show will feature Dolly Parton singing "Jesus & Gravity" as well as a performance by The Clark Brothers (winners of The Next Great American Band).
Both Kellie Pickler and Chikezie are scheduled to appear on Ellen on 4/2.

Ramiele Malubay = the next Antonella Barba? Absurdly, two fully clothed pics of Ramiele goofing off with some female friends have the press trying to turn them into a lesbian photo scandal!Last year's runner up Blake Lewis is scheduled to perform his upcoming single "How Many Words" on Thursday night's results show.

The new exit song Ruben Studdard has recorded for this season is a cover of Kenny Loggin's "Celebrate Me Home." Presumably, it will debut on the top 12 results show.
The rumored theme for the Top 11 is iTunes Current Top 100.
Season 5'ers Katharine McPhee and Elliott Yamin have teamed up to do a duet called "Real Love" for Randy Jackson's new compilation CD.
Upcoming celebrity mentors include Olivia Newton-John, Jewel, and songwriter Carol Bayer Sager.
